Lecturer in Public Service - Hertford Regional College - Broxbourne Campus

Permanent - 28.8 hours per week - Salary GBP20,520 - GBP26,160 (GBP25,650 - GBP32,700 FTE) per annum dependent upon experience and qualifications

As one of a team of Public Service Lecturers, you will report directly to the Curriculum Manager for Sport and Public Service. The role involves planning, preparing and delivering high quality, engaging and informative learning to a range of students who are considering a career in one of the uniformed public services.

We are seeking candidates who have teaching and commercial experience gained through working in the Public Services sector or other directly related occupation. Experience within the Public Service sector can be demonstrated through expertise in subjects including leadership, the public sector and citizenship, but with an emphasis on the uniformed public services. We are looking for applicants who are passionate about their industry and have the ability to inspire our learners.

You will be educated to GCSE level with a minimum grade C in English and Maths. A teacher training qualification is essential, together with a relevant degree or professional qualification. An assessor qualification would be advantageous but not essential, although the willingness to work towards this through staff training would be required.
