the University’s Global Strategy.

The level of appointment will be determined by your skill level, qualifications and proven breadth and depth of experience in different sectors, evidenced by the size, scope and complexity of cross-functional projects you have been involved with.

Using your senior stakeholder management experience you may be leading on School level or Faculty level projects and must hold a Degree (or equivalent) and a formal qualification in project management (PRINCE2) or equivalent (e.g. APMP, ILM) as a minimum. You will also need to be
highly-competent in using project management techniques and software tools.

If appointed to the strategic level post, you will need a good first degree and have relevant managerial experience as well as a successful project-management track record in the Higher Education and/or NHS sector, ideally in a research environment, and proven change management skills.

Qualifications in Management of Risk, Lean Six Sigma, Managing Successful Programmes are desirable.

To be successful in this role demands a professional, enthusiastic and pro-active approach to the challenges of project management, therefore you will need a deep understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects. Working closely with Faculty and School senior management teams and communicating successfully with colleagues and a wide range of stakeholders, you will be relied upon to provide hands-on practical support and expert guidance for a wide array of project-based activities. The ability to solve problems and identify appropriate resolutions in order to deliver
medium to large-scale projects through all the project life cycle stages successfully is absolutely essential.

In return, you will be supported in developing your career, allowing you to progress towards your career goals in a friendly environment. We are able to offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including a generous holiday allowance and pension scheme. You will also have access to
excellent campus sport, leisure and childcare facilities.

Please consider the individual role profiles carefully and apply for the post you feel you are most interested in and your evidenced skills and experience are most suitable for.
