Who will I be working with?

So, what will the role of Complaints Executive entail?

Supporting and working closely with the Compliance Manager, as a Complaints Executive you’ll be responsible for investigating and ensuring complaints are dealt with in a timely manner. Your duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Ensuring any Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) enquiries are fully resolved in a timely and professional manner
  • Producing compliance reports and monthly Retail Mediation Activities Returns (RMAR)
  • Completing weekly and monthly complaint audits and providing feedback to Team Managers
  • Observing regulatory time frames to prevent breaches
  • Reviewing, analysing and reporting any changes to legislation
  • Identifying and suggesting any possible process improvements
  • Producing training material and delivering training as necessary
  • Creating quality and accurate letters to complainants
  • Referring redress proposals to the Director of Operations

What will I need to be considered for this Complaints Executive vacancy?

  • Proven experience in the compliance or legal field, although applications from graduates with a relevant Bachelor’s Degree will also be considered
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Superb organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent numeracy skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and individually using own initiative
  • High level of attention to detail

Full understanding of Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) complaints regulations is highly desired.

Salary: £16,000 - £20,000, level dependent on experience. Potentially negotiable for significant experience in a similar role within financial services.

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm 

Contract Type: Permanent
