A Training Manager is required for an industry leader in crane hire and related services based in Bristol.
The position will be based at a CPCS (Construction Plant Competence Scheme) Test Centre on site where both CPCS and in house training and tests in crane related categories are run.
This area of the business will now be developed to offer a full range of additional training services to both existing and new industry segments.
The Training Manager role entails:
* Advising customers about the training - this will require the candidate to gain knowledge of the various crane related categories and different training options available
* Providing quotes by both phone and email
* Scheduling courses
* Administration of CPCS courses
* Liaising with the trainers and scheduling their work
* Liaising with the hire desk for personnel requirements
* Taking fire drills and organising training for staff
* Ensuring employees CPCS cards are up to date and renewed prior to expiry
* Developing the Training Department
Required skills for Training Manager:
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Flexible- the ideal candidate will have a forward thinking and proactive attitude to develop this role and be able to learn and adapt as required for future changes
* Adaptable- The candidate must be prepared to gain understanding of the crane industry and work with the management to develop training within the business
* Be committed, hard working and conscientious
Training Manager Package:
Negotiable starting salary dependant on experience,
