Filling Room Operative

Our client based in Frome is seeking someone to join one of their busy departments. The role is a temp to perm position over a 12-week period. Providing both parties are happy, after successfully completing 12-week you will join the company full time.

Hours of work: Monday to Thursday 09.00- 16.30, with half hour unpaid lunch. Friday 08.30 - 13.00. 32.5 hours per week.

Hourly pay rate: GBP7.50

The role:

You will be required to undertake the following:

Assisting in receiving and putting away incoming materials
Working the "head " filling machine". The expected rate is 100 in 40 minutes
Over locking of inners - expected rate is 15 in 5 minutes
Filling fibre inners
Weighing
Packing finished products to go to customers and ensuring correct paper work and that quality of finished product meets our standards
Putting inners into covers to a good standard, at a rate of 50 per hour

Other duties:

Measuring & checking furniture inners
Filling, weighing & stitching furniture inners
General tiding of all areas
