This Design & Technology Teaching Assistant position requires an enthusiastic graduate who has achieved at least a 2:1 in their Design Technology degree. However, this post will also consider other degrees such as: Resistant Materials, 3-D Design, Arts and Crafts, Interior Design, Manufacturing or similar degrees. The ideal Design & Technology Teaching Assistant will be a dynamic graduate who will possess the skills to naturally inspire students with their enthusiasm and energy. The ideal Design & Technology Teaching Assistant would be a bright and highly enthusiastic individual with a passion for their subject who values the importance of excellent education.

As a Design & Technology Teaching Assistant, you will be working in different functions across the department. You will be involved with supporting teaching and learning throughout the successful department by providing booster and intervention sessions for groups of students, and helping students of different abilities one to one. Whilst your confidence and experience as a Design & Technology Teaching Assistant grows, there will be endless opportunities to extend your responsibilities. This Design & Technology Teaching Assistant role will provide you with the opportunity to develop your skill set and bolster your classroom based experienced through delivering pre-planned lessons and developing your own exciting learning materials.
