Following a period of growth Servest Energy & Compliance has an immediate requirement for a Management Information Administrator to support our expanding team based at our offices on the western fringes of Bury St Edmunds.

Reporting to the Client Services Manager, you will be responsible for collating, reviewing and processing inspection reports, submitted by our team of field surveyors, prior to submission to our clients. In addition to processing our management information data, you will support the team with general administration and answering incoming telephone queries from our customers.

This role is vital in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of this very busy department. As such, we are looking for flexible and adaptable candidates who are comfortable working at pace and with initiative. Individuals with a preference to work in a highly organised, structured and process-driven manner may be especially suited to this role.

Given the emphasis on data collation, review and reporting, the Management Information Administrator position calls for high levels of accuracy and attention to detail - It is vital that all reports are of a high standard and that any errors or omissions are identified and rectified.

To be successful in this role, a good level of general IT literacy is required. Of particular interest are candidates with a reasonable level of Excel as there is a requirement for collating, sorting and processing data in spreadsheets.

Primary duties will include:

  • Reviewing, collating and recording reports submitted by our team of field surveyors for submission to energy clients and domestic customers
  • Generating regular summary reports
  • Dealing with incoming customer queries via telephone and e-mail
  • Providing comprehensive administrative support to the Energy & Compliance Team

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word), with particular emphasis on Excel to include the use of formulas, filtering, V-Look-ups and creating reports
  • Experience of working in an administrative capacity
  • Demonstrable working knowledge of database principles
  • Outstanding, accurate data entry skills
  • Able to retrieve and analyse statistical information and present / report clearly and concisely
  • Excellent prioritisation and organisation skills, which enable you to work in a methodical and systematic manner
  • Confident in working under pressure and to tight deadlines whilst remaining adaptable and flexible where necessary
  • Excellent telephone manner and effective relationship building skills
  • An analytical nature with exceptional attention to detail
  • Able to work with initiative, to innovate and problem solve as challenges arise
  • 5 GCSE's or equivalent, at grade C or above, to include English & Maths
  • Candidates who possess an Administration or a Customer Service related qualification such as NVQ Business Administration Level 3, or equivalent would be of particular interest
