The Software Upgrade Specialist is responsible for delivering apositive customer experience while implementing technical upgrades onElekta oncology software products. Ideally you will be fluent in asecond European language, French is preferred (we will consider otherEuropean Languages).
Your Responsibilities will be;
Upgrades. Perform all aspects of upgrading a customers oncologyinformation system (OIS), including: technical advice to projectmanagers to determine if a customer site is ready for an upgrade,implementing new OIS software and testing after upgrade to ensure fullfunctionality, support the customer on any technical and product issues.
Communication. Explain the process, resources and steps necessary tocomplete a successful upgrade. Answer questions, provide expertise andkeep the customer informed throughout the upgrade process.
Documentation. Thoroughly document all upgrade steps followingElektas quality, regulatory and safety policies and internal procedures.
Customer Satisfaction. Ensure highly satisfied customers by takingresponsibility for the successful completion of the OIS upgrade.
The skills you will need;
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related subject (Preferred)
Minimum 3 years of experience with Microsoft desktop and serveroperating systems (certification preferred)
Minimum 3 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server(certification preferred)
Experience with high-availability system architecture
Experience with Virtualised system architecture (vmware/hyper-v)
Experience with computer networks
Minimum 2 years of experience with Citrix and related infrastructureand administration
Familiarity/proficiency with the following: Outlook, MS office suite,WebEx, and Case handing systems
Radiation Oncology and Medical Oncology experience strongly preferred
Ability to effectively interact with internal and external customers(via phone and face-to-face)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated capability for decision making, sound judgment and assertiveness;
Ability to Travel 10-20%
Regular weekend work will be required
