Junior Animal Technician

Would you like to join our friendly, hardworking team and be actively involved in the daily care and maintenance of farm animals, mainly sheep and poultry, in a busy Biological Facility?
Your duties will include record keeping, health monitoring, general hygiene and cleaning, and animal husbandry.
You will enjoy working with animals, with previous experience working with or
caring for large animals.
You will be positive, reliable and able to interact with team colleagues and research staff.
You will have a good general education with GCSE English, Mathematics and a Science (or equivalent) as well as NVQ or Diploma in Animal Welfare/Animal Husbandry (desirable). You may also have minimal
experience in a technical/laboratory setting.
The post is available immediately and subject to the satisfactory completion of a 3 month probationary period.
Once an offer of employment has been accepted, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a health assessment, and a security check.
