DEVELOPMENT CHEF

Tonbridge School is one of the country’s leading Boys' Boarding Schools and is highly respected internationally. The School employs over 800 people including more than 100 Catering staff.

We are looking for a Development Chef who is passionate about food to join us as a senior chef in our busy Catering Department. We produce over 12,000 ‘home cooked’ meals a week across an extensive site, providing nutritious, healthy food for staff and pupils, as well as supporting a developing events function.

Overseeing 8 kitchens across the School site, you will use your skill, vision and personality to take our food to the next level using high quality, locally sourced produce. You will work alongside an established, talented team of Head Chefs, Assistant Cooks, General Assistants and other specialist staff including an in-house Butcher and Baker.

The successful candidate will have excellent culinary knowledge and craft skills with the ability to influence, train and develop our Head Chefs and their teams in a positive and professional manner.

Sociable hours working 40 hours per week on a full-time basis.

Salary up to £33,300
