Relief Community Support Workers (20 posts)

£8.70 - £9.37 per hour

Location: Countywide

Could YOU be part of a dedicated and committed team providing support to disabled children, young people and their families both in their own homes and accessing their local community?

We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated and team-orientated people to appoint as community support workers.

We are offering an exciting opportunity for you to be part of the Integrated Children’s Disability Service – Early Support Team, working in an enabling way to deliver bespoke  packages to families, where you will have excellent opportunities to develop your skills.

We play a key role in the delivery of graduated support for disabled children and young people where they are at the heart of all we do. We’d love to hear from you if you are committed to delivering personalised support packages; have well developed communication skills, are dynamic and creative, self-motivated and have experience of working in a care environment. You will need to be highly-organised, flexible and able to build excellent interpersonal relationships with families and colleagues alike.

You will receive regular supervision and be part of a supportive team environment.

This role is community based therefore will require continuous travel across the county so a driving licence and use of a vehicle is essential.

Closing date is 1st November 2017

Interviews will take place on 8th & 9th November 2017 at Meadow House, Mansfield.

Disabled applicants who meet the essential shortlisting requirements will be guaranteed an interview.  A job share scheme is available for all full time posts: both permanent and temporary, unless otherwise stated.  We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and we expect all staff to share this commitment and undergo appropriate checks.
