Our client requires a talented, innovative and motivated candidate witha background in Software Development and knowledge of working in variousareas of the SDLC, who will contribute to the team with new ideas andwho is open to and willing to adapt to business needs. The main focusfor this role is to help develop our clients 3D Design applications fortheir Plant and Marine products and overall System Architecture. Team Structure and Overview The Software Engineer is responsible for implementing high qualitysoftware components in accordance with project requirements and overallsystem architecture. You will be applying the Agile methodology to thedevelopment cycle and collaborate with fellow members of the Scrum teamsuch as other developers, testers, Scrum Masters, Product Owners,Stakeholders to ensure software delivery is on time, feature completedand to agreed quality standards and actively participate in all scrummeetings: planning and estimating; sprint reviews & retrospectives;daily stand-ups; backlog maintenance. Principal Responsibilities Producing innovative design against challenging user and performancerequirements, Ensuring test design proposals are reviewed and approvedby appropriate review authorities at each stage of the implementationand its evolution Ensuring all code is fully reviewed, unit tested and documented.Participate and comment in review sessions (walkthroughs, spec andcoding reviews). Providing prototypes where appropriate to explore and verify design proposals Implementing approved designs and ensuring adherence to productquality and acceptance criteria Assisting with the administration and resolution of support andmaintenance issues Working with adaptive development methodology to deliver systems thatexceed customer expectations and achieve the highest quality Documenting and reporting progress to the Development Manager.
