Ten Consultancy is delighted to be recruiting for a Business Development Manager for a North Devon based manufacturer with an international client base. This position has been created as many opportunities have been identified which requires a hungry Sales person to seize the opportunity through a consultative approach and convert the business.
This role will be a relatively "easy" sell due to the quality of the product offer plus the reputation of this manufacturer. Whilst there will be a need to hunt for new business opportunities there are already many prospects identified awaiting follow up.
As the product is within the maritime/water based sector, a candidate who has Nautical experience; perhaps surfing, off shore or Navy personnel may be attracted to the role. There will be a requirement to demonstrate the product and therefore the candidate must be confident in the water and able to swim.
We welcome applications from candidates who can demonstrate the following;
- A proven sales person who can demonstrate true business conversion
- A Consultative Sales background
- Business to Business sales experience
- Articulate & Eloquent
- IT Literate
- Personable
- Driving licence (happy to travel Nationally but primarily the South West)
The package on offer will be dependent upon experience but envisaged to be highly competitive within the marketplace.
