New Business Development Executive

£20-25,000 basic + Commission = £30-35,000 year 1 OTE

We are working closely with a small, highly professional company in Altrincham who provide marketing services to small, medium and corporate companies across the UK. They are growing their new business development sales team and have asked us to find a them a high flyer - you?

The focus of this role is quality over quantity - we are looking for a sales professional who knows how to build and nurture a new business pipeline in order to deliver against realistic but stretching new business targets. Predominantly desk based (80% of the time), this role requires excellent telephone based sales skills but will also involve getting in the car and getting in front of people. Your prospects will be the purchasers of marketing services and you will be provided with quality data including lapsed client accounts - so there is no self sourcing of leads required in this role. As they are a small company, their is no dedicated Account Management function so there is also a degree of account management in this role - but please don't be mislead, we are looking for a new business hunter, not a farmer used to a well established book of existing business.

To be interested in this role you will undoubtedly have a background in B2B sales and be experienced in generating new business via the telephone. To be successful in this role, you will be a tenacious, hardworking sales professional who is motivated by a generous commission structure that rewards high performance. You will have excellent communication skills and will be naturally competitive team player - there is a great team environment with plenty of friendly banter and rivalry! Car ownership is required for this role as 20% of your time will be spent in front of prospects and clients.
