We are seeking a Research Associate to assist in a pilot study to inform the design of an evaluation of a new children's social care intervention.
Hear and Now is a new therapeutic support service provided by the NSPCC to children and young people about whom professionals have concerns about possible sexual abuse.
The University of Bristol is working in partnership with NSPCC to undertake early stage research into how Here and Now is currently working, and how it could be evaluated at scale in the future.
You should have previous research experience in a social science or social work area with children and young people; knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods; well-developed analytical skills and excellent interviewing skills and observational skills. It is essential that you have a post-graduate qualification, or equivalent level qualification, in a relevant discipline e.g. social work, psychology, social research methods.
The post is fixed term until 30 March 2018.
