Paid Search (PPC/Adwords) Specialist

Job Description

Vertical Leap, one of the UK's top search marketing agencies, seeks a bright, ambitious PPC specialist with experience of managing pay per click marketing campaigns.

You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of campaigns that are based on annual contracts, ensuring that they are delivered to the highest standard. You will be responsible for growing campaign performance as well as maintaining client relationships for your accounts.

Core responsibilities include:

• Manage PPC campaigns from strategy through implementation.
• Deliver all campaign optimisation in line with PPC best practices
• Manage day-to-day client relationships through face-to-face meetings and regular forms of communication.
• Reporting key metrics, providing insight and expert recommendations with strategies for continued improvement.
• Provide guidance and thought leadership to a growing team of passionate PPC marketers.
• Exceed client expectations and performance goals on a frequent basis.
• Support internal Sales & Marketing teams with PPC expertise and recommendations.

Required experience:

• Must have proven PPC experience delivering results and managing customer relations
• Strong knowledge of PPC platforms such as AdWords, Bing, Facebook Ads & LinkedIn Ads
• Must have excellent attention to detail, adopting a logical approach with efficient problem solving skills
• Ideally very technical in nature, with a science or mathematics background
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
• Excellent organisational skills and an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Person specification:

• Strong project management skills
• 2+ years' commercial experience of managing multiple PPC campaigns (Google AdWords)
• Google AdWords certification preferred
• Some experience with display advertising networks (Google or other) ideal
• Some experience with social network advertising (Facebook, LinkedIn) ideal
• Excellent communication skills, both in a client-facing capacity and in written English.
• A good understanding of internet technology, especially HTML
• Experience of search engine optimisation would be an advantage.
