247 Professional Health are looking for dedicated and flexible health care assistants to join our team in supporting the elderly in residential care homes in Stourbridge.

Here at 247 Professional Health we offer introductory group sessions designed to provide detailed information about being a health care assistant with 247 Professional Health and what support and guidance you can expect from us.

The Sector Based Work Academy includes:

• Completing online training which is funded by 247
• Obtain a DBS on your behalf which we pay half towards (a DBS is essential to work in care)
• Completing 2-4 weeks practical training in a care home local to where you live (you must do 25 hours each week)
• If you are claiming benefits at the time of the training you can still claim this, if you are not claiming benefits then the training will be unpaid until you start with 247.
• There is a guaranteed job at the end of it

Once the training is complete we offer:

• Weekly pay with competitive rates from £7.15-£7.75 (More for nights and weekends)
• Advanced Rotas
• Fixed or Flexible Shifts
• Shift patterns to suit your availability- Days, Nights and Weekends
• Travel Expenses
• A 50% contribution to the cost of your future DBS
• We offer NVQs level 2 & 3
• Reward scheme when you recommend a carer or nurse to us
