Joinery Workshop Manager
Key Tasks:
- Management of Joinery Shop;
- Planning production schedules;
- Ensuring that the works and delivery programmes are adhered to;
- Transport and Logistics;
- Joinery tendering, surveying and pricing quotes;
- Design liaison;
- Material take off and ordering;
- Quality management;
- People and resource management;
- Stock allocation and managing of warehouse storage.
Skills:
- Joinery fitting background;
- Ability to interpret drawings and specifications;
- Own initiative and enthusiasm;
- The ability to be self-motivated and work as part of a team;
- Excellent communication and people skills (telephone and face to face);
- Good planning and organisational skills;
- The ability to work calmly under pressure;
- Excellent time management;
- Good IT skills, Excel and Outlook;
- Excellent attention to detail, quality and accuracy;
- Full driving licence;
- Experience in CNC Programming preferable;
- Experience in AutoCad preferable.
Required qualifications: SSTS/CSCS
