Service Advisor

We have a great opportunity for a Service Advisor to join our BMW dealership in Stanstead. You will receive a competitive basic salary with a realistic OTE of £25,000 - £32,000 per annum.

As our Service Advisor you will be responsible for providing outstanding care to our customers. You will be the face and voice of our brand. You will need to identify ways in which you can help the customer and deliver exceptional customer service so must enjoy building rapport and relationships and solving problems.

Your role will include:

- Booking in customer vehicles for servicing

- Arrange alternative transport for the customer (courtesy cars where possible)

- Liaising with drivers regarding pick-up and delivery of customer vehicles

- Manage and follow up all work in progress on customer vehicles; liaise regularly with the customer and Workshop Controller (and Technicians as required) to meet pre-arranged time frames.

- Ensure the customer understands any service charges  and the work that will be or has been carried out

- Producing customer invoices

- Arranging  payment from customers over the telephone or in person

To be successful in this Service Advisor role you will need:

- Excellent communication skills

- High levels of energy and enthusiasm.

- Personable and genuine approach to customer service

- Experience in a similar role

- Administration skills including strong computer skills

- Ability to organise and prioritise work in a busy environment

- Attention to detail
