Creative Marketer, Global Digital Media

As an integral part of the Hearst Digital Media marketing organizations global expansion, we are seeking an experienced Marketing director to develop creative and impactful marketing solutions that meet client objectives while driving digital revenue across international markets for Hearst’s sites: Harper’s BAZAAR, ELLE, Esquire, Marie Claire, Town & Country, Good Housekeeping etc.

You will be the lead marketer on creative brief responses from HAW Global rep offices, responsible for revenue growth of non-endemic advertising partners, and you will lead on xfrn partnership with Digital Editorial and studio.

You will support senior executives on key marketing initiatives, trends and key note development for and at industry events. You will also be responsible for increasing win rate on all marketing initiatives from the global digital team and development of seasonal product marketing material

Role & responsibilities

  • Ideate and develop custom solutions in response to digital RFPs, collaborating with Sales, Ad Product & Solutions, Content Marketing, Ad Operations, Media Planning, and Project Management
  • Liase with Magazine editorial colleagues throughout the process, imparting digital expertise on integrated sales and marketing brand teams
  • Bring digital solutions to life in a compelling pitch deck that strongly articulates the reason for and benefit of the proposed strategy
  • Attend client meetings to present digital opportunities as needed
  • Must have expertise at a category and client level and share knowledge and best practices across the larger marketing team
  • Be proactive in developing and refining the overall go to market messaging and presentation for the Global digital team.
  • Envision new ways for advertisers to connect with our consumers via ad product, and branded content programs
  • Participate in the creation of sales strategy against a client or relevant category, and create proactive opportunities in key verticals
  • Facilitate turnover of sold digital program to Project Manager. Stay connected to sold programs throughout the execution phase to ensure quality of execution and program success
  • Stay abreast of the marketplace competition and digital innovations




Requirements

 

  • Able to quickly synthesize an array of objectives and inputs to determine the right, executable solution
  • Understands and has relevant experience with advertisers looking to reach global audiences
  • Experience working effectively in a dynamic and fast paced environment, focused on both internal and external scaling of ideas and concepts 
  • Superior written and verbal presentation skills, comfortable interfacing with internal and external clients in different countries and cultures.
  • Resourceful, solution-focused and a multi-tasker
  • Strong prioritization and time management skills (manage to multiple deadlines and meeting requests across departments and time zones)
  • Extensive marketing experience, and relevant experience in Digital Media and Advertising experience at a luxury digital publisher with a global footprint
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Proven experience solving advertiser objectives in a media and content environment.
  • Strong knowledge of digital sales and marketing dynamics and processes
  • Proactive attitude; creative, entrepreneurial spirit
  • Strong PowerPoint, Keynote and Excel required; InDesign and Photoshop a plus
  • Knowledge of comScore, Adobe Analytics, Google analytics
