Position: Technical Sales Representative
Location: London
Salary: £34,000 - £44,000 (Dependent on Experience) + Uncapped Commission
The Technical Sales Representative Role:
This is an excellent opportunity for an up and coming Technical Sales Representative to take responsibility for the all sales activity contained within the allocated territory.
The Technical Sales Representative will be expected to grow profitable revenue from existing and targeted clients within a defined geographical territory. You will create credibility, build strong, lasting client relationships and earn the client's trust.
As part of the role, the Sales Representative will also need to understand the client’s specific needs and offering solutions, and deliver or exceed yearly budget for your region in a consistent and sustainable way.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the all sales activity contained within allocated territory
- Devise a pricing structure for the client; manage conflict by effective negotiation and sales strategies
- Price jobs accordingly and within the guidelines of the discount matrix (service deals must be approved by senior management)
- Conduct account reviews
- Directly responsible for all live projects contained within allocated territory with the exception of any GEC Major Projects or UK/NEE key accounts
- Complete quotations and relevant documentation including design briefs on time and of a high quality
- Complete call reports on a daily basis
- Ensure individual outlook diaries are up to date and reflect the any planned activity for the week ahead
- Manage objectives and achieve weekly KPI’s
- Analyse and determine the most important accounts in an organisation at any one time and ensure that they receive first-class customer care and service
- Analyse and adapt new strategies to react to changing business trends
- Responsible for studying and understanding market trends
Skills & Experience Required:
- Preference would be a degree in business management or related or equivalent technical qualification
- Previous experience in a sales or marketing position
- Hold a current CSCS card
- Ability to communicate at all levels of an organisation
- Ability to self-learn and develop Industry and product knowledge
