Quality / Continuous Improvement Engineer required by engineering company based in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire. Salary negotiable up to GBP30K depending on skills and previous experience.
We are part of a fast-growing group of companies, manufacturing hydraulic cylinders and power units, and due to an increased level of business, we now have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced team member, to join our company, influencing our future growth. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Mechanical Engineer with a bias towards Quality Improvement and experience of ISO 9001.
Experience Required:
-Qualified to HNC level or higher
-Experience of working with ISO 9001
-Knowledge of continuous & quality improvement and Lean manufacturing Techniques
-Determine process routes, manufacturing times, materials, tooling, costs, to achieve cost reduction in all areas
-Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
-Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
The right person for the role will:
-Proven ability to lead and manage teams or implement change
-Be proactive and self-motivated
-Be able to come with solutions not problems
-Flexibility in roles and ability to work as part of a small team
