Our client is a market leader in their sector and they are looking for an experienced Finance Analyst to join their team on a full time basis.
This opportunity takes ownership of territorial reporting and data management processes and a high-level vision of the organisation's strategy and progress against goals. The position will require you to interact, provide analysis and support to various business functions on a global scale.
Requirements for the role:
* MS Office
* Strong Microsoft Office skills:
* Advanced Excel skills, ability to interpret existing complex formulae and create own to greater benefit the team and reporting efficiency
* Excel Graphical Data Representation along with PowerPoint Presentation
* Macros desirable but not necessary
* Reporting
* Quarterly Reporting to Operation Managers and Commercial Directors and Dept. Heads for:
* Individual Contributor Performance Tracking and Analysis
* Incentive Calculation Review and Distribution
* Collaborate with Financial Controllers on accruals, payments and actual vs budget variances
* Data Mining and Management
* Bonus and Commissions analysis, support and calculations with 100% accuracy
* Ability to deliver attention to detail without getting lost in it (retaining understanding of the bigger picture)
* Ability to manage large data sets
* Relationship Building
* Excellent communication skills are paramount with an approachable attitude
* Clear, Concise delivery to audiences
* Demonstrable customer service orientation and ability to work collaboratively with diverse finance and non-finance groups
* Incentive plan experts for the business around the globe
* Constant Review and Challenge
* Identify processes that are either redundant or open to improvement
* Provide ideas, solutions and "new ways of thinking"
* Have the full understanding of situations and project Confidence when putting forward your side across
* Take ownership of change and drive the team to do even better!
* Analysis
* Proven experience in analytics, data interpretation with a naturally curious mind-set to challenge processes where necessary and put forward ideas to implement change based on analysis
* Role is intended to develop greater analytical responsibilities as related experience is gained
* Qualifications
* Qualified or Finalist in a recognised accountancy profession (CIMA or ACCA)
* Degree education or equivalent
* Proven track record in accounting or finance based role
