A great chance for an experienced Project Accountant to join a very successful aerospace electronics business that operates globally. The business, with its R&D and Project Management function based in Cambridge, is looking for a Project Accountant to ensure costing and forecasting accuracy throughout its scope of programmes.
The successful Project Accountant will be responsible for the creation of financial reviews, budgets and forecasts (monthly and weekly). The Project Accountant will ideally be a part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA) and have experience working within a similar role for an engineering/manufacturing business.
Please note that this role is initially being hired on a 12-month fixed term contract basis.
Project Accountant Requirements:
* Previous experience developing financial reports, budgets and forecasts
* Part qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA)
* Ability to provide financial advice to project managers and other team members
* Previous experience working in a similar role, ideally within an engineering/manufacturing environment
* Ability to identify project risks and opportunities and develop financial mitigation/savings plans
