We are currently recruiting for a Part Time Lecturer in Computing to join our Hi-Tech [Engineering & Computing] team, here at South Devon College. You will be required to undertaking teaching responsibilities commensurate with the requirements of the post, demonstrating the high stands expected of colleagues. You will also be required to undertake tutorials, student assessment, and lesson & programme preparation. You will be responsible for the delivery of Computing to Further Education learners and also the Computer Science (14-16 direct entry) provision, and may be required at times, to teach across a range of programmes including Higher Education, A-Levels, GCSE and Functional Skills at South Devon College.

The successful candidate will need to hold a relevant Level 3 qualification (or above) in Computing Science and/or Computing & IT, which covers hardware systems, networking, spreadsheets, databases, programming, mobile app, games development and web development. If not already held, you will be required to attain a teaching qualification within the Colleges specified timescale. We are looking for someone who has work experience in the Computing/IT industry and/or sector either with software development and/or hardware systems, and someone who has the flexibility to teach across a range of subjects and levels.
