Accountant

Following a change in ownership earlier this year, we’re now looking to grow our team of accountants so we can further develop the business.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate experience of preparing final accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies as well as completing VAT returns and preparation of management accounts. This role will involve some bookkeeping and would suit a team player who has a thorough understanding of current tax legislation with a desire to work within a small team.

• Preparation of final accounts
• VAT return completion
• Preparation of personal and corporation tax returns
• Bookkeeping
• Microsoft Office
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.

The role will include liaising with clients, answering queries and working with established accountants to ensure a professional service is delivered at all times. This is a full-time position working within easy access of the City Centre and would be an ideal next step for a recently ACA / ACCA qualified individual.
