Police Mutual have a fantastic opportunity for a File Quality Assurance Adviser to join our Mortgages team located at our head office in Lichfield.

The role exists to train, coach, manage and motivate a team of telephone based Mortgage & Protection Advisers, to achieve overall business & cross sale targets. A critical role which is accountable for the compliance, training, competency and quality of advisers, in addition to the specific activity and income production targets to exceed the overall Mortgage Advice Service business plan.
In this role you will???
•Check and grade mortgage and protection adviser files in line with Mortgage Excellence process and risk appetite
•Provide assurance that we are meeting regulatory requirements whilst meeting our customer's mortgage and protection needs.
•Provide timely guidance and advice to the business, so that it can develop appropriate practical procedures and take appropriate actions to address compliance failings.
•Contribute towards the development of T&C frameworks so that the business objectives and regulatory requirements are met.
•Provide guidance and advice to the business so that they can develop appropriate practical procedures and controls to meet the regulatory requirements of the business
•Proactively review and enhance where appropriate company controls and procedures to ensure that they are effective
•Act professionally and with integrity at all times
•Provide a support facility in this respect where advisers want to understand file requirements on complex cases.
•Provide Weekly and Monthly MI

•Ce-map qualified or equivalent
•Awareness of FCA regulation and interpret to manage impact for the Group
•The full impact and expectations of the MMR
•The industry in which the group operates including impact of legislative and regulatory requirements affecting the role
•Full understanding of MCOB and ICOBS
