We have a fantastic opportunity to join a well established Aerospace company manufacturing and maintaining equipment for many UK and European airlines. We are looking to recruit enthusiastic workshop technicians to join their team in Wokingham, Berkshire.

This role will include servicing & testing fire extinguishers and valve assemblies. This position is engineer based and would suit candidates who are reliable with an interest in aeronautical engineering

These roles may suit a keen, enthusiastic person with some sort of Engineering or aviation qualification. Maybe candidates with no prior work experience, just college may be good too

Key Responsibilities and Accountability:

?? Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with the correct revision of the manual.
?? Ensure that any ambiguities in maintenance/company data are reported to the Workshop Supervisor.
?? Ensure correct work practices & quality procedures are carried out accordingly.
?? Meet customer Turnaround times.
?? Aid with the improvement of efficiency within the department and create a team ethos.
?? Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail at all times with a high quality perspective.
?? Ensure work is prioritized effectively.
?? Ensure good Housekeeping within the area.
?? Adhere to the appropriate health and safety standards at all times.
?? Liaise with the Area Team Leader/Workshop Supervisor continually to ensure targets are met and understood.
?? To complete any other tasks as delegated by the department Team Leader/Workshop Supervisor to suit the needs of the business.
?? Have a commitment to Continuous Improvement e.g. LEAN

Required Ability/Skills for Employment

?? At least 3 months welding experience
?? Willingness to learn new skills
?? Positive attitude and enthusiasm
?? A good team and Company ethos whilst being flexible and adaptable
?? Great Communication
?? Excellent Organisational skills
?? Faultless Time keeping & Time Management
?? Good Technical ability and manual dexterity
?? Commitment to achieving high standards with zero or minimal defects in their work
?? A professional standard for behaviour in the workplace with a strong moral compass
?? Working effectively and safely under pressure
