Software Applications Developer

This UK data services consultancy is looking for a Software Applications Developer to join their team in central Glasgow developing a SaaS application that will provide Workforce Analytics for the UK market and beyond. The successful candidate will work with everything from front-end to server side development.

You must have:
- Minimum Bsc Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- Some of the following: Java, Python, Vue, React, Angular, jquery, Nodejs
- Experience of using Git/Subversion, HTML, CSS, SQL, PostGres
- Solid Coding skills
- A thirst for knowledge, willingness to continuously learn and work with latest technology
- Server-side application development, cross-browser & cross-device interoperability, feature support
- Understanding and willingness to implement the SOLID software design principles
- At least 1-2 years software development experience

Nice to have:
- Good UI Design skills
- Understanding of UX
- Use of PaaS, such as Google App Engine, Heroku, Elastic Beanstalk, or Windows Azure
- Strong Mathematical skills. Particularly around Statistical Analysis.
