Finance Business Partner
Kent
£45000 - £55000 per annum
A FTSE Listed Financial Services business are seeking a Finance Business Partner to join their Finance team, within their Technology sector. With key decision making responsibilities and exposure to senior stakeholders within the business, this role will serve as an excellent stepping stone to your wider career.
Primarily responsible for leading the production and management of budgets, plans and regular re-forecasts, key accountabilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Acting as the lead Finance contact and partnering with other areas of the business, particularly Claims and Technology
* Lead monthly production and consolidation of annual budgets, plans and re-forecasts
* Develop detailed analysis to support plans and act as Finance lead to Heads of Department to explain and react to variance analysis and MI
* Production of ad hoc analysis to keep up to date with changing business and reporting requirements
* Highlight developing trends and variances to forecast to senior management to support key decision making
* Design new and improved reporting and analysis, still utilising existing reports
Key requirements:
* Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
* Experience working within a Financial Services environment, ideally with exposure to Technology division
* Experience partnering with other business areas outside of finance
* Strong communication skills and ability/confidence to challenge and influence senior management on their plans where necessary
* Advanced system skills, particularly Excel
