Restaurant Host / Waiting Staff

The Restaurant Team take care of our guests in Wild Café and The Herring. Our philosophy is that everyone who comes to our restaurant is coming to our house; we want to get them a drink as quickly as possible and then serve them a good meal before bidding them a fond farewell.

The role of Restaurant Host is to provide a memorable Bedruthan dining experience to our guests.

You will be responsible for:

  • Food and drink service throughout the day
  • Ensuring allocated sections are stocked, maintained and kept clean and tidy throughout service
  • Product knowledge and upselling

We like our Restaurant Hosts to have a warm, friendly nature and the confidence to talk with our guests. Be able to keep calm under pressure, a capable problem solver and have a fantastic eye for detail.

Previous experience in a similar role is essential.  Barista skills would be an advantage but we can provide training to the right person.

Excellent written and verbal English together with numeracy and basic computer skills are essential.

We offer:
£7.72 per hour
Permanent contract for 12-30 hours per week including weekends and evenings
All year round employment
Free meals whilst on duty
