Permanent Catering/Kitchen Assistant required (36 hours per week) - Penarth
Salary: GBP7.50 per hour
We are looking to recruit a full-time catering/kitchen assistant, for immediate appointment. The position guarantees 36 hours per week, but during weeks of annual leave/sickness/absence the available shifts are offered to all, so extra hours are available.
The kitchen is open from 7.30am to 8.00pm, 7 days a week. You will be part of a team - with 3 chefs & several catering/kitchen assistants.
It is preferred that you have catering experience and a food & hygiene certificate.
Employment is subject to satisfactory references and Discolsure & Barring Service (DBS) check. DBS check to be paid by the applicant, the GBP60 fee will be refunded after 3 months employment.
The Waverley is situated close to public transport links (500 yards from nearest bus stop, 0/6 miles from Penarth train station).
