Nursery Supervisor
37 hrs per week
Hours worked between 8am-6pm on a rota basis
To work at our Crispin Nursery
Grade 14: £8.55 per hour, Term Time only
Permanent Contract
Appointment starts 8th January 2018.
As Nursery Supervisor you will be responsible for providing high quality, inclusive and fully integrated childcare provision for children under five. The role includes working with the nursery team to ensure the integrated delivery of the education and childcare provision, as well as working in partnership with parents and carers, adopting a flexible, professional approach in promoting the development, welfare and potential of all children attending the Nursery.
This post would suit an individual who can:
- Work in creative and imaginative ways with children and their families to support teaching and learning in the setting.
- Implement and contribute to plans on a short and long term basis, including scope for creativity and interpretation by adjusting activities according to children responses, needs and interests.
- Support the delivery of high quality and consistent behaviour management strategies and behaviour/personal handling plans.
This post would suit an individual who has:
- Early Years Professional Status or NVQ Level 4 in Childcare and Education.
- Sound knowledge of the EYFS and other relevant statutory policies affecting nursery settings.
- A positive, enthusiastic and highly motivated work ethic and a true passion for working in Early Years.
