A pupil referal unit in leeds is looking for a Team-Teach qualified LSA (learning support assistnat) to join their team. The school is for children with emotional, social and behavioural difficulties. The post requires an individual who is able to work as part of a team, support the class teacher, and manage negative behaviour effectively through team-teach de-escalation techniques.
The position is on a supply basis with the potential for a long term contract. The Team-Teach Teaching Assistant / Team-Teach TA will enjoy support and guidance from a friendly team who work together and aim to give the best possible educational experience for their students.
The post is very rewarding and is ideal for people who have SEND experience who are looking to take their next step.
The post will be working across Key Stages 2-4 to support students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups in a school for students with EBD / SEMH.
