This is a brilliant opportunity for a high calibre Senior Structural Engineer, with a proven track record in the delivery of quality designs for building structures to join a vibrant, successful Civil and Structural Design Consultancy based in a friendly, Structures team in Stoke on Trent. Our client is offering the chance to work on a variety of interesting and unique building structures ventures as well as a competitive salary/package and options to progress quickly (Principal/Associate Designate).

**The projects are building structures related and range in value up to GBP50m. The work is varied within most sectors of the Built Environment.**

In order to be considered for this Senior Structural Engineer role you will;

• Have a strong degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Working towards Chartership
• The ability to work with other Engineers, manage CAD Technicians and produce designs in a wide range of materials is essential.
• Have a sound understanding of the building process, procurement, design management and control and interaction with other stakeholders in the construction process.
• Keen to establish yourself as a key contact with other consultants and partners and to represent the company at meetings
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are considered essential.

Key Tasks/Responsibilities for this Senior Structural Engineer role include;

• Involved in project design from commencement to completion.
• Preparing structural design calculations.
• Communicating with Technicians and supervising the production of design drawings.
• Supporting other Engineers in carrying out the project design.
• Carrying out Professional Development and maintaining records in accordance with ICE or IStructE requirements
• Ability to show initiative and drive and to manage time effectively.
