Assistant Drainage Engineer- Wakefield

My client, a UK based Engineering Consultancy, is searching for a Drainage Engineer to join their experienced design Team based in Wakefield.

It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in Civil Engineering and have experience working for a UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing technical work including Flood Risk Assessments and experience completing SuDs, Drainage and Pipeline Design using Infoworks ICM.

It is also beneficial for applicants to reside locally and have experience completing Surface Water Drainage Strategy.

As a Drainage Engineer you will have the opportunity to join an experienced team of design Engineers and have the opportunity to complete Flood Risk, Surface Water and Drainage Engineering Projects for Private Developers, Local Authorities and Water Companies.

You will be required to complete technical work including Flood Risk Assessments for Planning Applications, Surface Water Management Plans, Drainage Impact Assessments, Surface and Foul Water Drainage Strategy and detailed SuDS design using Infoworks ICM.

The role will also offer full training and support to complete technical designs.
