VP Compliance Officer
Our client (Correspondent Bank) based in South West London are urgently seeking an VP Compliance Officer to join their team on a fixed term contract basis (with aview to this going permanent).
Ideally you would need both Banking and Asset Management Experience and have experience of Compliance Advisory, Monitoring, training, financial promotions and new products.

Responsibilities of the VP Compliance Officer will include but not limited to:
- Preserving and reporting meaningful management information.
- Manage compliance with the FCA / PRA rules and expectations
- Maintaining and evolving Compliance Risk Management Framework; and improving and embedding this into all areas.
- Offering regulatory advice and guidance to applicable stakeholders
- Regulatory horizon scanning
- Developing the Compliance Monitoring Programme
- Inserting a culture of Compliance in line with the FCA / PRA rules and expectations
- Enhancement of Compliance reporting
- Proposal and delivery of Compliance training
Have you got the below essential requirements?
- Educated to a Degree level.
- Team leadership and management experience
- Holding a Relevant professional qualification is desired
- Ability to produce and understand MI reports, analyse data and recognise inconsistencies.
- Asset management, Banking and MiFID 2 experience - ideal.
- Acquaintance and experience of best practice compliance and governance frameworks, methods and emerging practice, compliance monitoring and risk assessments.
- Upholding and enhancing compliance systems and controls
