UK - South Area Sales Manager (Home Based)
Salary: £30,000 per annum
Car allowance: £6,000 per annum (Over budget sales bonus scheme, and 25 days holiday + statuary)

Must have experience in the engineering Industry. 

Job Description:
Responsible for overseeing the sales operation within your region, primary function is maintaining and increasing sales of company product range.

Ideally experience in the pressure/temperature measurement and control markets.

Promotion of the combined product range and after-sales services of the world leader in the manufacture of pressure and temperature measurement within the UK, with underlying responsibilities:

1. To provide day-to-day management of the designated UK territory sales efforts by:
a) Direct management of all sales into the designated UK territory (including Customer Services)
b) Liaison with the Office based Sales team
c) Input to product development/improvement
d) General Marketing Feedback
e) Providing monthly reports and forecasts
f) Set up and manage distributors
2. To provide innovative solutions to customer's product and service needs
3. To pro-actively generate new business in a structured manner agreed with the General Manager
4. To maintain and build upon existing relationships with Key Accounts within the designated Area
5. To provide on-site product demonstrations and customer training where required
6. Provide forecasts, budgets and sales analysis for the company. In particular, to assist with the development of a short-to-medium term sales strategy to achieve organic growth in the UK

The role carries a very high profile within the Company, and you will have a very strong part to play in the future growth (organic and otherwise) of the company. It is intended that this is a home-based role.

Also, as can be seen from above, you will need to have strong organisational skills, be customer focused and have an excellent hands-on understanding of the range of products and solutions available from the company.
