An independently owned restaurant group with an excellent reputation is seeking an experienced General Manager for their restaurant and bar in Bristol. This stylish restaurant serves contemporary Anglo-Italian food using the best fresh ingredients, prepared in their open kitchen producing big bold, flavours. As General Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of the business to ensure it all works smoothly, your team is well trained and the guests have a great experience. This is an extremely popular site and we are looking for an outstanding individual who has the potential to develop further as an Area Manager.

With full responsibility for the success of the restaurant and bar including:

• Team leadership and management
• Recruitment, training and development of the team
• GP's and bottom line profitability
• Brand standards are met
• Excellent customer service and guest experience
• Health, safety and hygiene
• Meeting of all KPI's

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A proven management track record gained from a premium branded restaurant environment
• Experience of working in high volume environments
• Experience of working with fresh produce
• A positive and proactive management style
• A commitment to providing excellent customer service
• A good knowledge of both restaurant and bar
• A passion for the industry, drive and energy
• Personality and flair with ability to inspire the team
