An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team as a Bathroom Fitter in Shepway.

Within this role, you will be responsible for effecting Bathroom Refurb’s to the housing stock as required by the Client and will work effectively within a cohesive operations team. You will need to be able to self-manage your work within the requirements of the planned program, liaising with the customers and builder’s merchants to enable the smooth running and completion of each job with in the program.                              

You will liaise with the Mears call centre, supervisor and Builders Merchants enabling you to carry out works as directed within the given time periods and to the specification laid down in the contract.

Taking responsibility for ensuring that the work has been carried out both effectively and efficiently, you will be able to prepare all paperwork including timesheets, accurate descriptions of work carried out, estimating repair requirements, trades, and job coding and costing.

In order to be successful in this role, it is essential that you are a Builder/multi-skilled in plumbing/tiling/plastering and decorating. You should also hold a relevant trade qualification or have extensive experience in 3 or more trades, preferably within decorating, plumbing, carpentry, wet trades (i.e. plastering/brickwork/tiling etc). In addition, you should also have an understanding of paperwork and job coding coupled with excellent communication skills. A proficient user of IT, you will be a motivated individual with the ability to succeed.

Candidates for this role will hold a full UK driving licence.
