VALUES Support Worker

Voluntary Action LeicesterShire (VAL) helps people change their lives for the better through voluntary and community action.  We are one of the largest voluntary and community sector support organisations in the UK, working across Leicester city and Leicestershire, and have the aspiration to become a national leader in our field. VALUES is an exciting and innovative project within VAL that provides person centered support for people who have learning disabilities to participate within the community in and around Leicester.

VALUES Support Worker – 20 hours+ per week (negotiable)

Pay:  £8.22 per hour

VALUES Sessional Support Workers – Various hours (covering annual leave and sickness)

Pay:  £8.80 per hour.

VALUES is looking for people with experience of supporting people who have learning disabilities, have good communication skills and are well organised.  The focus of the work will be to support people who have learning disabilities to participate in social and leisure activities, to volunteer and to help develop the activities we offer.
