Loading Assistant

Our client is looking for Loading Assistants to join their Fleet department. As a member of the loading team, the role will be to ensure all of the vehicles are loaded correctly for the following day. Following specific guidelines, the loading assistants will do a final quality check of each item and ensure all items are loaded in a way that preserves their quality during transit.

They are the UK’s leading specialist manufacturer of bespoke, premium, aluminium doors and windows. Established in 2002, they have grown rapidly, and now have offices in Dubai as well as a manufacturing facility in Florida.

The working hours will be 4pm-12am with paid breaks.

Key Responsibilities - Loading Assistant:

• Load each vehicle in accordance with specific guidelines
• Quality check all items being loaded onto the vehicle
• Strap and protect each item sufficiently
• Assist the loading of orders onto each delivery vehicle, ensuring quality is maintained
• Keep the immediate loading bay area tidy
• Assist in parking the vehicles securely
• Assist in weighing vehicles where necessary
• Carry out other duties as required

Additional Requirements - Loading Assistant:

Relevant experience with loading vehicles along with a full UK Driving Licence is essential and Forklift Licence or 7.5 tonne licence would be an advantage.

Salary: £20,000 + Benefits
