Manufacturing Engineer- MRP system & CAD experience

A thriving technology company in Hemel Hempstead are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. If you have the ability to convert product engineering BOM's into manufacturing BOM's and structuring for ease then you could be the Manufacturing Engineer that we're looking for. What will you be doing? As a Manufacturing Engineer, you'll be responsible for administrating product BOM as well as changes within the MRP systems to retain product and business data integrity. You'll display initiative when seeking to improve manufacturing processes and creating product structures alongside the design team. In addition to this, you'll utilise your manufacturing skills when working autonomously on product development as well as production and support systems. What skills/experience should you have? Experience of working with complex products or working in low volume manufacturing environments. Solid knowledge of MRP systems BTEC / HNC in a mechanical discipline or equivalent Solid ability to create and maintain product build instructions Significant manufacturing engineering experience within a lean manufacturing environment Who will you be working for?
