An exciting opportunity has arisen for two Multi Skilled Operatives to join our team in Thurrock. Within the role you will be responsible for completing repairs to the housing stock as required by our client whilst working effectively within a consistent operation repairs service.

You will be able to submit presentable and accurate paperwork which includes PDA data base information coupled with using SOR and descriptive works, in order to cost works which are being completed. Within the role you will work within a busy repairs/voids team environment, reporting individual actions from site guaranteeing maximum service delivery and high levels of resident satisfaction at all times.

In order to be successful in this role, you will have a relevant trade qualification or substantial experience in 3 or more trades, preferably Glazing / PVC, Plumbing, Carpentry, Wet trades (i.e plastering/brickwork/tiling/groundworks etc).Experience within social housing is also essential and you should be familiar with using a PDA.

Hand tools and battery drills are to be provided by employees larger scale plant can be hired, Uniform and PPE provided by Mears and a vehicle supplied.

With strong time management skills, the Multi Skilled Operative will have experience of preparing all paperwork including timesheets, accurate descriptions of work carried out, estimating repair requirements, trades alongside job coding and costing. Furthermore, we are looking for an enthusiastic individual with the ability to succeed. Successful Operatives will also have the option to be added to the branch out of hours rota.

Candidates for this role must hold a full valid UK driving license
