An exciting opportunity has just become available for a Chartered Structural Engineer to become an integral part of a close knit, independent engineering consultancy at their office based in Cornwall. Our client is undergoing a period of expansion and consequently are looking to welcome a Chartered Structural Engineer to play an import part in a range of upcoming projects from inception to completion. Our client delivers a high quality standard to a range of clients across the South West and are looking to welcome the successful applicant to continue this high standard of delivery. Our client is willing to pay a competitive salary for this role, in addition to offering a fantastic opportunity to be part of a strong team.
In order to be considered for this Chartered Structural Engineer role you will;
- Hold Chartered Status accredited by ICE or IStructE
- Possess experience within a building structures environment
- Possess experience of working with steel, concrete and timber structures
- Possess a good understanding of AutoCAD
- Have experience of working towards British Standards
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
In this Chartered Structural Engineer role you will;
- Play an important part in the delivery of a range of building structures projects from inception to completion
- Create, develop and maintain strong working relationships with valued clients
- Attend site projects as required
- Write reports and carry out calculations as required
- Ensure all projects are delivered to a high standard in accordance with relevant industry standards
