Field Based Property Consultant - East Midlands

Our client is the UK's leading retirement housebuilder and have been delivering specialist retirement property for 40 years, having built an enviable reputation for providing excellent customer service and high levels of satisfaction to customers. It makes sense therefore to ensure this unrivalled service is carried through to provide a fully comprehensive Resales Service to their Homeowners.

Their Resales Service are looking for 5 Field based Property Consultants based within the following locations:

  • South West (Between Taunton and Bristol)
  • East Midlands (Between Luton and Cambridge)
  • West Midlands (Between Birmingham and Stafford)
  • North (Between Manchester and Leeds)
  • Scotland (Ideally located in Edinburgh)

Our client is offering an exceptional opportunity to passionate and driven Property Consultants, who will join and grow the Resales team. As this is a new venture, the Property Consultants will be pivotal in shaping the growth of the business and really contribute and make a difference to the long-term growth plans.

As the Property Consultant, you will drive sales in line with monthly and quarterly targets within your designated geographical patch, obtaining the maximum price for every sale.

Tasks will include undertaking market appraisals and carrying out viewings, working with the Head Office Sales Consultants where necessary to ensure all offers are progressed through to completion and advising customers of the additional services available to vendors and purchasers.
Making recommendations to the Resales Manager for improving instruction levels, sales performance and viewing numbers for resale apartments will be an important element of the role.

This position will be home based, requiring extensive travel across the region, which may involve working additional hours to meet business requirements.

Within this role you will be passionate about Sales and Customer Service and have a “can do attitude”, always striving to provide the highest level of service, whilst at the same time as exhibiting an empathetic nature towards your customers.

Demonstrable experience of successful selling, ideally within a property sales environment is essential, together with experience of developing and following up leads and enquiries within required timescales.

Good knowledge of the conveyancing process, together with good IT skills, particularly use of Microsoft Office is essential.
