NPI Project Coordinator / NPD Project administrator - Taunton - GBP19,800 My Client, a global manufacturing company, is looking to recruit a New Product Introduction Coordinator / NPI Coordinator / NPD Project administrator for their site near Taunton.
The successful candidate will work with sales team and external customers and suppliers to translate and develop new product briefs into profitable products that can be manufactured and delivered on time.

The successful New Product Introduction Coordinator / NPI Coordinator / NPD Project administrator will:

?? Ensure that the NPI team has regular contact with internal/external customers and suppliers as allocated and build good inter-personal relationships to communicate progress and relay information needs according to project briefs and plans.
?? Work Directly with approved suppliers
?? Carry out appropriate checks and quality assessments in line with the departments procedures and project management protocol.
?? Maintain accurate, fully comprehensive and up-to-date data/files and samples in accordance with protocol; specific customer requirements and department procedures.
?? Work closely with other NPI Co-ordinators to share and optimise NPI resource to deliver best results.
?? Be able and willing to cover colleagues projects during holiday or sickness periods to maintain the project management and execution of any customer accounts under the guidance of line manager.

The successful New Product Introduction Coordinator / NPI / NPD Administrator will have the following skills;
?? A good understanding of a manufacturing business including profit/cost drivers
?? Leadership skill with the ability to take the lead and make decisions / recommendations within given parameters.
?? Excellent administration and attention to detail skills
?? Good communicator and team player
?? Product knowledge and a passion for product design
You will be working for a company that offers excellent career progression and has an excellent reputation in the market. This role will suit a candidate that has previously worked as a project coordinator, manufacturing project administrator, manufacturing administrator, technical administrator.
