CSR Programme Manager - Leeds or Manchester Department - Human Resources Reporting Line - Head of Talent & Learning Purpose of the Role The CSR Programme Manager will advise on and implement the firm's CSR strategy and coordinate the CSR programme in the UK and internationally. The role contains a mix of some strategic and some administrative elements. This is a part-time role (3 days p/w) with some flexibility around days/hours worked and home working. Duties Charity of the YearAct as the main point of contact with our firmwide Charity of the Year (COTY) and manage the relationship between the COTY and the firm.Help to find volunteers to join local COTY committees.Host monthly call between the local COTY reps and offer ongoing support and advice.Coordinate the bi-annual COTY selection process. CommunitySupport the work of the local CSR Partners and committees (whilst not taking away their accountability and ownership for individual initiatives).Attend local CSR committee meetings.Provide ongoing advice to those organising community activities, such as school literacy projects. Pro BonoSupport the work of the Pro Bono Partner and local pro bono champions.Help to raise the profile of the pro bono programme. Engagement and CommunicationEstablish relationships with stakeholders to increase buy in to CSR and find volunteers.Create and cascade effective internal communications.Work with the PR team to ensure optimum external coverage of the firm's initiatives. General programme administrationProvide general advice/support to partners and employees on CSR issues.Manage the firm's central CSR relationships and memberships.Liaise with the Charitable Trust concerning AG funding and attend meetings.Liaise with those leading on diversity, pro bono and environmental matters, to ensure a joined up approach to our responsible business aspirations.Provide guidance on any 'policies' such as employee time off for CSR activity.Manage the CSR budget and secure appropriate funding for new projects.Monitor and report on CSR activity levels and engagement on an ongoing basis.Produce CSR information for pitch/tender documents and the firm's website.Represent the firm at external CSR meetings, forums and networking events. Knowledge, skills and experience required (bespoke to role)Organised, highly-motivated and with a track record in delivering successful projects.Experience of working in CSR preferable but not essential.Law or professional services experience ideal, but will consider those with different backgrounds.Travel to our other UK offices and attendance at events outside of core hours will be occasionally.
