One of the country’s largest providers of liquid waste removal; industrial services such as tank and interceptor cleaning; labour provision to industry; hazardous waste removal; oil/water separation and specialist metal recovery. We are a national company with a Head Office and depot in Liverpool plus depots from Plymouth to Berwick-Upon-Tweed.
The HR & Admin Coordinator Role:
A vacancy has arisen at our Midlands Division office in Rugby for an experienced full time HR & Admin Coordinator. Our Midlands Division covers an area from Cheshire to Lincolnshire and employs around 95 employees spread across a number of customer sites primarily in the cement industry. You will be responsible for advising and assisting operational management with all HR related issues including recruitment (advertising, short listing, interviewing, contracts of employment); management of manual and electronic personnel files; employee relations and management of leavers. The role will involve travel to other sites in the Division to assist operational managers with HR issues. You will report directly to the Divisional Operations Manager but you will also be responsible to, and receive assistance from, the Group HR Manager for the quality of HR service provision in the Division. Admin duties include ordering and issue of personal protective equipment.
To apply for the role of HR & Admin Coordinator you will ideally have a CIPD L3 Certificate in HR Practice, although this is not essential if you are qualified by experience. You will be an excellent organiser of your own time and able to prioritise workloads to ensure managers receive a high level of service. You will have excellent IT skills, proficient in the use of MS Office applications Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint with a high standard of written English. Because you will be required to travel to other sites, you should also have a car driving licence valid for the UK. Experience of working in the cement, industrial services or waste management industries would also be an advantage.
