Do you have what it takes to provide an efficient administrative service to a team supporting Welsh SME’s to deliver their growth ambitions? If so you’ll be delighted to hear that there is an opportunity for you to join the support team at the Business Wales offices in St Asaph.

Who will I be working with?

Business Wales provides first class business support to Welsh SMEs on behalf of the Welsh Government, funded by the European Regional Development Fund and delivered by Growth Partnership Wales (GPW), a partnership of Business in Focus, Antur Teifi and Peninsula Enterprise (PE).

So, what will the role of Administrator entail?

Working as part of an efficient support team, as an Administrator you’ll be working within a busy environment providing diverse administrative support that includes but not limited to;

  • Accurately entering data onto databases and Microsoft Excel spreadsheets
  • Accurately maintaining up-to-date client files
  • Greeting visitors and answering the phones in a professional manner and assisting with queries
  • Providing administrative support in the organising of various training and promotional events for the region, e.g. preparing documentation packs, attendance and registration of clients, follow ups, and ascertain missing information from client details, etc.
  • Maintaining office stationery levels

What will I need in order to be considered for this Administrator role?

  • Proven experience within an administrative role in a busy office environment
  • Superb customer service skills with a polite, professional and helpful manner
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Good organisation skills
  • IT literacy with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
  • Accurate and timely data entry skills
  • High level of numeracy and literacy, with strong attention to detail
  • Team player with a flexible and can do attitude towards tasks and hours

What will I receive in return?

Salary: £16,500 - £18,500 per annum

Additional benefits: Flexible working scheme, 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays, pension and free parking

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week, working on a team rota within 8.30am-5:30pm Monday to Friday

Contract type: Permanent
